From Store to Wardrobe

I have a very long story to share with you regarding this post. Remember the store that I was planing to start? I worked quite hard to make it go live but it seems doing it part time and also doing everything  from scratch was one good reason for not making it go live. The designs were ready, materials were ready, got the sewing team too but time management was the biggest problem I faced. I could not maintain the consistency with the design, with the sewing process and most importantly gathering raw material.

However the result of my first trial was not too bad. For this bi-colour floral print dress I chose four different materials. Two for the inner linings and two for the outer parts. High quality Saturn cloth is being used for upper outer body. I chose the light and floral print considering summer in mind. To pair with that I chose red Lycra for the skirt to give a feminine, girly look. The waist line features an elastic band that joins the red Lycra skirt with the off-sleeve top.

This dress is also is now a part of my wardrobe family. To balance the look I paired the dress with white pumps for my feet and white pearls for the neck. Did you like the combination? Please let me know about the dress which was once in my imaginary store :P I have some more collection to show to you. I will post them one by one.

Hope you guys are having a great weekend.

Wow the floral dress looks so beautiful. You designed this on your own. Just amazing. I wish I were that creative too. Really looking forward to see more of your collection. Sorry to hear your wisdom tooth is causing you pain. Hope it’ll go away soon. Have you tried to put some clove oil on it? I’ll ease the pain. Wish you a happy and hopefully pain-free Sunday!!!

You look amazing, very beautiful, and your creation too! I love red and I love floral prints, so, wow, such a great outfit! It’s a pity you are not going to pursue or go on with the shop you wanted, cause I am sure you would have success with it! Maybe in the future? Think about it!
