Being Dressy: Soft layer and Blue Dress

The extreme summer heat can make you think of nothing other than being dressy, and that’s the sole reason why I came up with this post though these photos were taken in the month of February.

What more do you want when you have a dress that flaunts for you. All you need is, to bump into this look and go out for a Saturday stroll or a midweek outing. To grab this look, get a soft layer (for a chilly day), pair of heels, statement jewellery and a dress of course.

Dress:
Wear a dress which conveys a neat, classy and chic disposition. Just make sure to get the right dress size for your body, nothing too loose or too tight. The main focus should be on how the waist of the dress falls onto your natural waistline. So pay attention and stick to that.

Shoes:
Heels are always in demand when you are picking up a dress. But if you you want to look younger or get a little cute girl vibe then you may embrace some stylish flat pumps or sandals.

Add ons:
You may add a belt to your dress to cinch in your waist but the dress alone without the belt should cinch your waist perfectly. You can layer it up with a blazer or a cardigan when you’re in a chilly indoor setting, but for the most part, it’s best to keep it all at a minimum.
Adding a pop up sling will add some contrast and will complete your look.

Alert:
Try to keep the jewellery simple, especially around the neckline. When you go for high neck dresses which already have buttons embedded on it, then you can forget about the neck-piece.
