College wear

Just because the early morning class leaves no time for make up touches or accessorizing your outfits, it doesn’t give you the license to violate the basic fashion rules and look scruffy. Get ten on ten in your daily college wear in just ten minutes!

Remember you don’t need flashy outfits, uncomfortable stilettos or matching accessories to be a college diva. It’s all about wearing your style on your sleeves and doing it your way.

1. Jeans:

The first item in your wardrobe is probably the basic pair of jeans that you comfortably slip into. However not all of them look good so you need to exercise caution while picking a pair off the rack.

RED ALERT:

Size- Only the right size looks best on you. Make sure you sit in your jeans while you are trying them out. If you have to hold your breath or lie down to zip them up it means they are too tight. Just stop being stubborn and get a larger size.

Pockets size- If you’re petite go for smaller pockets that make your back look larger. And in case you’re too wide at the hip area get big pockets to camouflage it.

Colour-Wear dark shades to get an instant slimming effect while going for lighter shades to highlight your curves.

2. Top:

The secret to adding a chic touch to any of your basic garbs is ‘Layering’. Pick your black vest and layer it with a bright shirt. The color contrast lands it an interesting visual effect while giving it a comfortable and casual look.

Same goes for boys. Throw off a shirt over you basic white t-shirt , leaving a few buttons loose for a casual day at college.

RED ALERT:

People sometimes tend to get too creative here with the shirts picking all odd tacky prints starting from florals to funny multicolored patterns. Even a black or white vest isn’t strong enough to balance out a palette of loud colors.

3. Shoes:

There is nothing much to say in this case. Just wear your comfortable sneakers or anything that lets you run to classes before the teacher enters without making you look too hideous.
